Douglas Belgrad, President of Columbia Pictures, and his wife Christine hosted a Lexus Hybrid Living Eco Salon to benefit the Waterkeeper Alliance. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., spoke at the event, which featured an eco fashion show by Linda Loudermilk; eco beverages by VeeV and Alma Rosa; sustainable furnishings from Cisco Home; and eco gifts from EO Products, VeeV, Sambazon, GoodBelly, LivingHomes and Clairmont Lavender.

Lexus' three pillars of corporate sustainability includes Lexus Hybrid
Living -- a sustainable luxury lifestyle and community of eco-visionaries created by Articulate Design. Lexus' corporate sustainable commitments also includes manufacturing facilities with a zero landfill policy, and Lexus
Hybrid Vehicles, certified as Super Ultra-Low Emission Vehicles that meet stringent standards for hydrocarbon and nitrous oxide emissions.



Lexus Hybrid Living was launched at a press event in New York City hosted by sustainable fabrics and furniture designer Q Collection. The press mingled with the most exciting eco designers working today, including architect Steve Glenn of LivingHomes; Christine Nielson, founder of organic-linens purveyor Coyuchi; eco fashion designer Linda Loudermilk; Jesse Johnson and Anthony Cochran, co-founders of Q Collection; and Christopher Reiter of Philippines-based Kenneth Cobonpue, designer of sustainably-sourced eco furniture.




Interdisciplinary Design is the core of Articulate's sustainable design approach. Our design team architects destination web sites and social
networking platforms for people to learn and participate in a brand
experience. Our team designs events, printed collateral, sustainable
products, and videos to create a fully integrated brand experience platform.
